I ran the OC Half Marathon today with Darius and Mayumi, two friends I met on my Antarctica trip. This was my first half marathon, and I didn’t have a lot of time to train as much as I had hoped, but I lived. A half marathon was a nice distance, and I’ll probably run more of these in the future … although I said that about marathons in 2002, and this run today is my first run since then.
